Frequently Asked Questions

When dropping off your pet, please provide the essentials as well as anything else that might make your pet’s stay more enjoyable. This includes their food for the duration of their stay (plus a little extra in case your plans change), leash, crate, bedding, litter box, litter, toys, and treats. We can provide bowls so don’t worry about that.

Of course. We know how stressful it can be leaving your baby with someone new so feel free to request a meet and greet and ask any questions you may have.

Payment is required at the time of your booking.

You can cancel anytime before your pet’s stay starts, including same day. We understand that plans can change last minute so you can expect to receive a full refund.

We accept up to two pets for boarding at one time and one for daycare. This does not include the resident small dog and cat.

All bowls, feeders, fountains, toys, outdoor spaces, and bedding is cleaned after each guest leaves to ensure a cleanly environment. The whole house, including furniture, is vacuumed regularly. Although we can not guarantee that cats won’t use the same litter boxes, they are cleaned daily with a different scoop for each box. In the event that a pet has an accident, enzymatic cleaner is used right away.

Each level of the house is generally designated for either dogs or cats. This means that one level will have the cat toys, trees, bowls, and litter boxes while the other has dog toys, bowls, and crates. Please be aware that while pets will usually be interacting with their own species, they may come in contact with others.

Our dog door is electronic and tied to their collar. Once the collar is within range of the door, it will open and quickly close once the dog has passed through it. While staying with us, your dog will be given a collar for the duration of their stay so that they are able to come and go as they please.

If we are unable to supervise for any period of time, each animal will be separated from any others. For dogs, they will be in their crate and cats will be in their own cat proofed room with a closed door. This is to make sure that all pets stay safe when staying with us.

Yes. We do have one extra crate but can take multiple dogs at once so please check with us ahead of time for availability.

Yes. When bringing a new pet in to the home, we introduce them to the others slowly to make sure that everything will go smoothly. We know that cats can be particularly sensitive to change, so by default they will be in their own room for the first couple hours. If your dog is also shy, please let us know so we can offer them the same treatment. If not, dogs are welcome to explore immediately after they arrive and are introduced to any other dogs with a barrier between them until we can confirm that they’ll get along.
